Why We Built This Site
A single Marion County search does not reveal every part of a warrant record. The Iowa District Court issues the process, the Clerk maintains the public case file, and the sheriff or a city police agency handles enforcement within its authority. Iowa magistrates sit inside the district-court system rather than a separate municipal or justice-of-the-peace court. The sheriff publishes no complete active-warrant list, and the state IOWA System is restricted to criminal-justice agencies. These pages collect official contacts, court-search steps, access limits, and safe confirmation routes so readers do not mistake a jail dashboard or missing web result for a current court answer.

- Resolving a warrant: the steps to resolve a warrant, from talking to an attorney to posting bond and a motion to recall or quash
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Iowa court, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and their data is not an official warrant check.
